Introducing top-notch medicine, through an astonishing building
The Pacífica Salud Costa del Este hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, is a project developed by the same group that promoted the Hospital Punta Pacífica. This hospital features a comprehensive healthcare program housed within a six-story building. The design emphasizes a multi-height entry space and a facade that harmonizes with the existing building by using similar proportions and materials, and it is integrated through connections on each floor.
Situated at a strategic corner and surrounded by three roads, the building's multi-height space at the most representative corner functions as a central distributor, guiding users to the various floors and activities. The ground floor accommodates clinical laboratory areas, a pharmacy, and emergency services, as well as access to the basement parking and technical areas. The upper floors include diagnostic imaging, operating rooms, hospitalization areas, maternity, intensive care units, and other specialized services.
The specialized areas within the hospital were meticulously designed to ensure independent circulations for patients, medical staff, and service areas. This design approach maximizes the efficiency of hospital operations while maintaining the necessary aseptic conditions in required spaces. Additionally, the hospital includes cafeteria and restaurant spaces, providing convenient dining options for patients, visitors, and staff.
